Description
The International Diploma in Early Childhood Education provides students with a variety of teaching methods, aiming to promote students' ability to plan appropriate teaching plans. Students will learn to apply knowledge related to observing, recording and evaluating children's learning and development, and design learning environments and teaching activities suitable for children's development to meet the needs of children's development.
COURSE PURPOSE
After completing the course, students will be able to:
- Ability to observe, record and evaluate children's learning and development.
- Ability to design a developmentally appropriate learning environment to meet children's developmental needs.
- Design developmentally appropriate instructional programs for young children using a variety of methods and strategies to meet the developmental needs of young children.
Entry Requirements
- Polytechnic College Diploma or WSQ Professional Diploma in New Skills Qualification in Early Childhood Education or other equivalent qualifications and
- At least Cambridge GCE 'O' level Chinese score C6 or above or Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) Level 5) or other equivalent qualifications

Class Schedule
This course consists of 4 units, totaling 180 hours. The part-time course takes 4.5 months and the full-time course can be completed in 3 months.
Issue Certificate
Students must pass all exams and must meet all graduation requirements. Upon completion of this course, students will receive a certificate from Asian International College.
“This course is not accredited by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA), to the effect that this course is not considered a professional qualification required for registration as a preschool teacher in Singapore. This condition will remain in effect until the AIC provides evidence to CPE that the course has been formally accredited by ECDA.
