- Compare and contrast the various existing logistical practices in the global economy;
- Apply logistics principles to achieve competitive advantage;
- Integrate logistics as core competency within the enterprise supply chain; and
- Develop procedures on workplace safety and health and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Distribution Logistics (2 days/15 hours)
- Distinguish between logistics and supply chains and create an understanding of other logistics terms;
- Evaluate how organisations can integrate their logistics processes into global supply chains and leverage opportunities provided by computing and communications to manage;
- Appreciate how customer service bridges both marketing and logistics; and
