Final Dissertation

The program is dedicated to the Final Dissertation conducted under the supervision of an assigned tutor.

The academic dissertation asks students to understand and analyze a key business or managerial issue. Working with their tutor, students then identify an area that requires further exploration and a methodology for filling that knowledge gap. Students will undertake original research to fill the pre-defined gap before writing up their findings and considering their personal contribution to the chosen research domain. This includes an analysis of the academic and practical / managerial implications of their research.

Specialised Study Trip

Students will take part in a one-week study trip to a European Fashion Capital.

  • They will have the opportunity to meet with leading industry professionals and go on exclusive behind-the-scenes visits to companies in the fashion, design and luxury industries.
  • During the company visits, students will work on a specialised field research project relating to one of these industries and in alignment with their future career ambitions.

Note: The study trip is contingent on global conditions and travel restrictions.

Professional Development

Complementing the core curriculum are personal and professional development workshops which students can attend to strengthen their employability profile.

  • These workshops can include current topics of interest, recent management and industry-specific trends, research and career development.
