Description

Programme Introduction

The MSc Engineering (Mechanical Manufacture) programme aims to develop in individuals an all-rounded set of skills and knowledge in the field of mechanical manufacture. With a curriculum that is specifically crafted to prepare them for the real world, students will have the opportunity to develop a rigorous understanding of mechanical manufacture, such as research methods, design and innovation, systems modelling and analysis, and manufacture and production.

The challenges of the curriculum aim to train students to be inventive and creative problem solvers with a wealth of technical and theoretical expertise that they can draw upon to excel in diverse areas of their field.

Scope of Study

Theories, case study analysis, presentation and practices in the areas of Engineering (Mechanical Manufacture)

Entry Requirements

Academic Level:

BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

For mature students, the candidate must be ≥ 30 years and have 8 years of working experience.

 

English Language:

Applicants must have an IELTS Score of 6.5 or pass the Certificate in Academic English Level 6 conducted by DIMENSIONS or passed the English Proficiency Test conducted by DIMENSIONS at equivalent level or its equivalent.

Career Opportunities

Students may consider progressing to a Doctoral degree of relevant discipline in any Universities subject to their acceptance.
