Description

The Master of Science in Cyber Security programme aims to equip students with the knowledge and necessary skills in several core areas of cyber security. The course aims to provide a comprehensive and deep understanding of security principles, as well as the practical techniques used in solving security problems and addressing relevant issues.

Entry Requirements

Local Qualifications

  • Students who successfully complete the Bachelor of Science with Honours in Cyber Security at PSB Academy can progress onto the Master of Science in Cyber Security; OR
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Engineering etc.; OR
  • A relevant professional qualification of an equivalent level.

The following consideration with prior learning and work experience to adhere to the mature candidate route (30 years old and above) with a minimum of 8 years of work experience:

  • A lower qualification plus appropriate and relevant experience at a professional level
  • Accreditation for prior learning (RPL) is in accordance with University regulations. The accreditation for Prior Experiential learning (RPEL) will only be awarded for achievements equivalent to masters’ level.

English Language Requirement

Students whose first language is not English must demonstrate proficiency in the English language equivalent to IELTS 6.5 with no component lower than 5.5.

Minimum Age Requirement

To be eligible for admission, students must be at least 18 years of age by the commencement date of the course in which students want to enrol, should application be successful.
