Description
Course Overview
- The MBA programme focuses on developing strategic analytical skills as well as business intuition and enquiring and adaptive thinking to meet the ever-changing nature of business, and the global challenges which business leaders are facing.
- The UWS MBA has a structure that takes advantage of an integrative teaching approach which provides learners with a comprehensive understanding of how key business functions impact upon one another. As well as providing the essential core business knowledge and understanding, the programme places a strong emphasis on developing the applied managerial skills that are vital to managing creativity, as well as problem solving which are vital to be an effective business leader. Using a variety of methods such as role play exercises, case studies, and in-company analysis etc., your communication, negotiation and facilitating skills will be developed and enhanced.
Entry Requirements
- Applicants should be at least 21 years of age at the time of application and be expected to satisfy at least one of the following academic requirements:
- Have a degree awarded by accredited institutions OR
- Have a postgraduate award (passed at an appropriate level) OR
- Have an appropriate professional qualification such as those from ACCA, CIMA, OR
- Other relevant academic or professional qualifications or working experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis
- English language proficiency: IELTS 6.0 or equivalent
- As requirements for matured candidate is 30 years old with 8 years experience.
- APEL Policy: If you cannot meet these minimum requirements it may be possible to take into account evidence of Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) as an alternative method of meeting the programme’s entry requirement. In such a case, appropriate references and records of employment might be presented to support the applicant’s case of admission.
