Programme Introduction
The heart of a successful business lies in its implementation of effective marketing and sales strategies. Ideally designed for fresh graduates and marketing managers who are keen to advance their careers in the marketing sector, the Master of Business Administration (Marketing) programme deepens their understanding in the areas of advertising, public relations, promotions and sales.
Besides the seven compulsory core modules, students are required to complete a dissertation research project. The compulsory core modules focus on the effective management concepts and global marketing strategies. Resultantly, students will be able to differentiate between the types and classes of customers as well as their buying behaviour.
Upon successful completion of this programme, qualified students will be awarded with the Master of Business Administration (Marketing) degree by Cardiff Metropolitan University. In addition, graduates will be thoroughly prepared to thrive in professions ranging from sales manager to marketing manager, etc.

Entry Requirements
Academic Level:
One of the following must be fulfilled:
- A degree from a recognised university with a minimum of a 2:2 classification;
- Hold a professional or other qualification which is deemed as acceptable for admission by Cardiff Metropolitan University and have held a responsible position for a minimum of 5 years.
Selection for this course is through an application form and, where necessary, an interview.
English Proficiency: Applicants must have an IELTS score of at least 6.0 or pass the Certificate in Academic English Level 6 conducted by DIMENSIONS or pass the English Proficiency Test at equivalent level conducted by DIMENSIONS or its equivalent. English proficiency may be considered to have been met and an IELTS score may not be required if applicant possesses a highest qualification where English was the sole medium of instruction.
Career Opportunities
Students may consider progressing to a Doctoral degree of relevant discipline in any Universities subject to their acceptance.
