Description

Course overview

Addiction and mental illness are two of the biggest concerns in today’s world. Both are rampant and are taking enormous tolls on individuals and society.

Guide those in need towards making their own choices and overcoming obstacles by helping them discover their strengths and fortitude. This program provides an overview of the theories and models, prevalent and contributing factors, and psychological and social issues associated with substance and behavioral addictions such as alcohol, drug use disorders, and gambling disorders. As an essential program for addiction counseling, it is designed to provide students with the generic knowledge, principles, and skills that can be used to help people with substance or behavioral addictions in today’s rapidly changing world.

Entry Requirements

Participants are expected to contribute to the class learning experiences in a cohort and peer learning environment. You will be assessed based on experience, aptitude, potential, and managerial skills.

At least 21 years old with a Degree in any discipline

OR

Mature Candidates (at least 30 years old) with minimum 8 years of work experience will be assessed through an interview and an admissions test
