Course Overview
The 4 modules, 12 credit course addresses the needs of Diploma graduates from a range of disciplines who are seeking to increase their professional skills, knowledge and value through acquiring both an understanding of global and national challenges on businesses, so as to be able to respond professionally and effectively to these challenges.
The course allows students the opportunity to acquire knowledge in current management and finance concepts, models and framework and train the student in analytical problem solving and research skills to enable them to operate confidently and effectively in a business environment characterized by constant changes, requiring flexible and innovative responses at a professional level.
The course options cover Economics, Accounting and Finance, Marketing, Management Information Systems and Strategic Management.
On completion of 4 out of the 6 module options, students would be able to leverage on information systems as a strategic advantage and apply the module contents to develop dynamic and strategic responses to complex internal and external challenges facing an organization from the perspective of strategic decision making, strategic finance, contemporary marketing while managing complex alliances and collaborations.
Entry Requirements
Academic Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
- Applicants must be at least 19 years old by 31 December in the year of enrolment.
- All applications are subject to SHRM College’s assessment of eligibility for entry into the programme.
English Language Requirements
- IELTS score of 6.0; or
- An equivalent English Language qualification
Applicants who do not meet the above English language requirements will have to undergo the SHRM Advanced English Placement Test. Based on the table below, students may be required to take the Preparatory English Language Programme.
