Description
The Graduate Certificate in Business Administration provides the opportunity to develop advanced analytical skills needed to make sound business decisions. It focuses on the management of organisations and provides unit choices in two other key business disciplines.
Students who successfully complete the programme will be awarded the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration. They can gain direct entry to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme and are required to complete another 4 units. Upon the successful completion of the MBA, students will be awarded the prestigious certificate.
The programme can be completed in a minimum of 4 months.
Entry Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- Other qualifications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis
- Satisfactory preparation for the programme through informal or non-formal learning and/or professional experiences subject to the approval of the Academic Chair
In all cases, the final decision on admission to the programme rests with the University.
English Requirement
- IELTS overall score of 6.0 with no band less than 6.0

Delivery Method
Students will attend a combination of lectures, tutorials and workshops in this programme and have the flexibility to plan their study schedule based on their study load. Programmes are scheduled for 5 days a week, 3 hours a day. Students are expected to be on campus for classes, workshops and self-study. Each unit is supported with 24 contact hours.
The Pro Vice-Chancellor of Transnational Education & Deputy Dean of Murdoch University are based in Singapore to oversee all academic aspects and ensure a high standard of academic delivery here
Assessment Methods
Each unit is assessed by any combination of class participation, written assignments, project or examinations. Assessment methods may vary according to individual unit requirements.
