Description
The Graduate Certificate in Business Administration provides the opportunity to develop advanced analytical skills needed to make sound business decisions. It focuses on the management of organisations and provides unit choices in two other key business disciplines.
Students who successfully complete the programme will be awarded the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration. They can gain direct entry to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme and are required to complete another 4 units. Upon the successful completion of the MBA, students will be awarded the prestigious certificate.
Entry Requirements
This online Graduate Certificate programme accepts a wide range of qualifications, which includes:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher; OR
- Other equivalent qualifications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis
English Language Requirement
- IELTS overall score of 6.0 with no band less than 6.0; OR
- Applicants are required to meet Murdoch University’s English language requirement. Visit course webpage for more information.
In all cases, the final decision on admission to the programme rests with the University.
Work Experience
- Satisfactory preparation for the programme through informal or non-formal learning and/or professional experiences subject to the approval of the Academic Chair
Additional requirements for international students
Prospective international research applicants are required to complete and submit an EOI in Higher Degree Research Candidature form before applying for admission.

Students will attend a combination of online lectures, tutorials and workshops in this programme and have the flexibility to plan their study schedule based on their study load.

Each unit is assessed by any combination of online class participation, examinations, projects or written assignments. Assessment methods may vary according to individual unit requirements.
