Description

Programme Introduction

Besides being ranked as the No.1 Logistics Hub in Asia in the 2014 Logistics Performance Index by the World Bank Group (WBG), Singapore is also widely known as a world-leading logistics and commodity trading hub which facilitates the transportation of goods by air, sea and land. With 20 of the world’s top 25 logistics players having a strong and dominant presence in our cosmopolitan city-state, it is no surprise that many local employers are on the lookout for candidates who possess the specialised skills to streamline day-to-day business operations in the logistics sector.

Conducted at DIMENSIONS International College, the Diploma in Logistics Management programme provides learners with an understanding of the process of planning, implementing and controlling the efficient and effective flow and storage of goods, services and related information from point of origin to point of consumption, for the purpose of conforming to the requirements made by customers.

All learners are required to complete six (6) months of Institutional Training and another six (6) months of Industrial Attachment* endorsed by Singapore Institute of Purchasing & Materials Management (SIPMM). Upon successful completion of the programme, qualified students will be awarded the Diploma in Logistics Management by DIMENSIONS International College.
