For O-level/NITEC/Higher NITEC holders, please approach our Programme Consultants for information on the Kaplan Foundation Diploma programme.
Graduation & Degree Awarded
Students who successfully complete and pass the modules stipulated in the programme structure will be awarded the Diploma in Information Technology from Kaplan Higher Education Institute, Singapore.
Advanced Diploma and Diploma graduates can progress to pursue Degree programmes offered by our university partners and other higher education institutions from Australia, Ireland and the United Kingdom (relevant disciplines and/or subject to university’s requirements).
Entry Requirements
- Kaplan Foundation Diploma; OR
- Minimum 1 GCE A-Level pass; OR
- Other private or foreign qualifications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis (based on the equivalence to the GCE A-Level); OR
- Mature candidates (30 years old and above, with a minimum of 8 years of work experience)
English Language Requirement
- At least C6 in GCE O-Level English or equivalent

The Diploma programme consists of 8 modules and may be completed in 8 months.
- Computational Mathematics and Computer Architecture

- Introduction to Programming Using Java
- Principles of Information Systems and Data Management
Delivery Method
Blended learning, which is a combination of face-to-face teaching and online learning, has been introduced to the Diploma programme to improve your learning experience.
Each part-time Kaplan Diploma programme consists of 8 modules that may be completed in a minimum of 8 months over 4 terms. Each module is timetabled to include face-to-face contact hours and supplemented with online lessons. Materials are made available via real-time online learning and on-demand self-directed learning.

Assessment Methods
Each module is assessed by any combination of continuous assessments, examinations, presentations, projects or written assignments. Assessment methods may vary according to individual module requirements.
