Course Information
Description
The Diploma in Healthcare Management programme offers and equips an understanding of healthcare practices, policies and processes that leads to exciting future opportunities. Students will be able to pursue careers dealing with the business operations of medical facilities and administrative knowledge in the healthcare context. Additionally, it is focused on management-oriented training with a deeper understanding of finances, daily operations of medical facilities or other related organisations and prepares students to work competently in the healthcare sector.
Entry Requirements
Applicants must possess ONE of the following entrance requirements:
- 1 GCE 'A' Levels
- MDIS International Foundation Diploma in Biomedical Sciences
- MDIS International Foundation Diploma in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Art
- Relevant Foundation Diplomas from local /overseas polytechnics or other PEIs (with an entry requirement of 10 years of formal education)
- International applicants must have completed 12 years of formal education
- Mature candidates of minimum 30 years old with 8 years of relevant work experience
English Language Requirements
Applicants are required to possess one of the following:
- C6 pass in English at GCE 'O' Level or equivalent
- Achieve a minimum band of 5.5 in IELTS or equivalent
- Pass the English Entrance Test conducted by MDIS
- MDIS Professional Certificate in English
- Online English Placement Test conducted by MDIS
- Letter from College/University clearly stating the Medium of Instruction of the highest qualification to be in English
- Achieve a minimum score of 85 and above in Duolingo English Test
- 1 IGCSE Level Pass (either English 1st or 2nd language)
