Programme Introduction

The EAIM Diploma in Foundation Studies is a University Foundation Program designed to prepare O-level or Middle-school graduates for entry into renowned and reputable universities in UK, Australia and USA. It is a 6 months program that provides students an intensive, fast-track admission into their desired under-graduate Bachelor’s degree programs

Programme Objective

  • a sound foundation and understanding of basic economic theories and concepts;
  • the understanding of the concepts, processes, and functions of management;
  • the understanding of the basic principles and practice of accounting;
  • developing basic skills to analyze real world business issues and entrepreneurship;
  • enhancing students’ capability in analytical and critical thinking

Entry Requirements

Minimum Age Requirement: 15 years (at the time of application)

 

Academic Entry Requirement:

1 GCE O Level Pass

or

Nitec / Higher Nitec

or

Poly Foundation

or

LCCI Diploma in Business (Level 3)

 

English Language Requirement: 

GCE 'O' level English (grade 1 to 7);

OR

IELTS score of 4.0;

OR

An equivalent English language qualification

Modules

Generally the curriculum for all levels are taught over 4 terms of 12 weeks. Modules are conducted in formal instructor-led classroom sessions where students are introduced to the course discipline. Each term will cover 2-3 modules with 54 contact hours per module. Lectures are 3-hour sessions and Tutorial 3-hour sessions weekly.
