Description
Programme Introduction
The Diploma in Business Information Management programme offers students an appreciation of the inter-relationship of processes in the business information industry. This diploma also introduces fundamental concepts in Business Information Management that are widely used.
Programme Objective
- To provide a comprehensive and balanced programme of business and computing knowledge and skills required for business in the information age.
- To develop well educated and skilled people who understand the managerial and strategic issues associated with implementing information systems.
- To provide a relevant and flexible study in the field of Business Information Management.
- To provide students with the ability to synthesise knowledge, understanding and practical skills in a vocational context.
Entry Requirements
Minimum Age Requirement: 16 years (at the time of application)
Academic Requirement:
2 GCE A-Level
or
EAIM Foundation Programme
or
LCCI Diploma Level 3
or
12-Year High School Graduates
AND
English Proficiency Requirement:
Minimum EAIM ETEDP Level 1 / IELTS 5.0 / GCE O-Level C6 (For mature students who do not meet the above minimum academic entry requirements but have prior learning or work experience in the relevant fields, please contact EAIM for consultation.)

Modules
Generally the curriculum for all levels are taught over 4 terms of 12 weeks. Modules are conducted in formal instructor-led classroom sessions where students are introduced to the course discipline. Each term will cover 2-3 modules with 54 contact hours per module. Lectures are 3-hour sessions and Tutorial 3-hour sessions weekly.
