Course Overview
With increasing buildings and facilities population, this course prepares one for entry-level jobs in the growing demand for facilities and property management. Both technical knowledge and soft skills will be developed to equip graduates to handle real world situations. Graduates are positioned for high demand jobs after undergoing the 24 weeks internship program. Some of the potential careers are Facilities Manager, Hotel Engineer, and Maintenance Supervisor.
Entry Requirements
- Minimum Age 17
- Academic Level : At least PASS in 3 GCE ‘O’ Level subjects of equivalent qualifications
- Language Proficiency: C6 in GCE ‘O’ Level English or equivalent qualifications or a pass in the English placement test by the college.
- If applicant does not meet the academic requirements, applicants who are 30 years and above with at least 8 years relevant work experience may be considered.

Industry Attachment-Internship (24 Weeks)
The industry attachment provides students with an opportunity to gain work life experience in the facilities management industry with the following benefits:
- To be able to identify various building construction technologies, materials and finishes.
- Acquire fundamental knowledge the maintenance of building mechanical and electrical systems.
- Understand the importance of basic statutory regulations related to physical environment e.g. workplace safety and health
Do note: For students who are unable to go internship, they are to required to submit a research project.
