Description
Are you a food and beverage connoisseur? This course will teach you the technical and professional abilities you'll need for a career in culinary arts management, whether you want to manage a restaurant, become a private chef, or develop innovative foods.
You'll study food microbiology, diet, nutrition, and gastronomy, as well as a variety of culinary and patisserie methods with significant hands-on experience from leading industry professionals. In addition to that, this course will also help you in developing the business and people skills necessary to succeed as a manager in the F&B industry.
BSc (Hons) Culinary Arts Management degree is all about employability. The approach is to encourage and promote a can-do attitude in hospitality management. Aside to the practical culinary techniques, you will learn skills such as finance and accounting, people management and product innovation and development. Entry Requirements
All students will be required to apply directly to UWL through the University’s normal admissions procedures. Applicants must request for an official transcript and certificate confirming completion of the Diploma in Culinary Arts from At-Sunrice GlobalChef Academy before proceeding with the University’s admissions procedures.
You need to meet the university’s English language requirement - a minimum of IELTS 5.5 for each of the 4 individual components (Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening). UWL also accepts other English language examination equivalents. Contact the International Office to find out more.
You also need academic qualifications at the same level as UK applicants. In some countries where teaching is in English, UWL may accept local qualifications. Check for local equivalents.
