Course Overview
The BSc (Honours) Accounting and Finance programme is your first step into the Accounting industry. Accounting is more than just a computational skill. The programme will develop your ability to analyse and evaluate real life situations, and effectively communicate your views and opinions. You will consider practical techniques involved in accounting and finance, and develop skills to critically analyse the theory behind these techniques.
The Accounting and Finance Division is one of only six universities to have courses accredited by AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians). This means that upon graduation, students will be able to apply for AAT membership, which provides professional qualification to enhance employability.

Obtained at least a Pass in any one of the following:
- TMC Higher Diploma in Business
- TMC Higher Diploma in Business (Marketing specialisation)
- TMC Higher Diploma in Business (Human Resources Management specialisation)
- TMC Higher Diploma in Business (International Business specialisation)
- TMC Higher Diploma in Business (Accounting specialisation)
- TMC Higher Diploma in Business (Logistics specialisation)
- TMC Higher Diploma in Business Studies
- TMC Higher Diploma in Business Studies with Marketing
- TMC Higher Diploma in Business Studies with Human Resource Management
- TMC Higher Diploma in Business Studies with International Business
- TMC Higher Diploma in Business Studies with Accounting
- TMC Higher Diploma in Business Studies with Logistics
- SQA HND Business
- Relevant Polytechnic Diploma*
- Advanced / Higher Diploma in ( Business / Management / Accounting / Marketing ) from Private Education Institutions*
English Qualification
If English is not your first language, you will be required to have any of the following or equivalent:
- Completed a Higher/Advanced Diploma where medium of instruction is English
- IELTS 6.0
