Big business, social media, finance and the public sector rely on Data Scientists to analyse data and draw out valuable insights that will benefit the business. With this BSc (Hons) Data Science and Analytics (Top-up) Degree programme, you will acquire technical and analytical skills to make sense of the vast data available to organisations, while working within the regulatory and technical boundaries of the field.
Entry Requirements
This Degree programme accepts a wide range of qualifications, which include:
- Polytechnic Diploma
- Kaplan Diploma
- Other Private Diplomas and/or Foreign qualifications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis
- When required, work experience will apply as part of the admissions process. Applicants seeking recognition of experiential learning are required to provide a portfolio of evidence in accordance with the University’s Recognition of Prior Learning policies and practices. Any assessment on work experience and decisions on related admissions will be conducted by the University and will, where appropriate, lead to the recognition of the achievement of learning outcomes and the award of the University Credit.
Applicants admitted to the programme may be required to undertake bridging modules to fulfil the required prerequisite knowledge.
English Language Requirement:
- ELTS score of 6.0, with no component less than 5.5 OR
- Successful completion of an approved Diploma qualification or higher, where the language of instruction was English can be considered

Delivery Method
This programme consists of 11 modules and may completed in a minimum of 18 months. Classes are conducted on weekday evenings and weekends.
