Description

This Bachelor of Business Studies programme is designed, in the context of large bodies of data, to provide a set of analytical methods of problem solving that aid decision making. It provides students with the key analytical knowledge and theory as well as a strong grounding in the management disciplines, including strategy, marketing and operations management.

Graduation & Degree Awarded

Students who successfully complete and pass the modules stipulated in the programme structure will be awarded the Bachelor of Business Studies (Honours) (Business Analytics) from University College Dublin, Ireland.

The Degree will be the same as that awarded to the on-campus graduates in Ireland.

Entry Requirements

This Degree Programme accepts a wide range of qualifications, which includes:

  • Polytechnic Diploma
  • Kaplan Diploma
  • Equivalent qualifications awarded by other Singapore-registered Private Education Institutions
  • Other private and/or foreign equivalent qualifications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis
  • If the above requirements are not met, applicants with a minimum of 3 years of working experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis. An interview will be conducted by University Admissions to determine the suitability into the programme based on the comparability between the entry requirements and the knowledge and capabilities demonstrated through the work experience.

English Requirement

  • Applicants should possess a Diploma from a local Polytechnic or a Private Education Institution where English is the sole medium of instruction; OR
  • IELTS of 6.5 or equivalent; OR
  • TOEFL of 600 (or 250 in the Computer-based Exam) or equivalent

Applicants admitted to the programme may be required to undertake bridging modules to fulfil the required prerequisite knowledge.

In all cases, the final decision on admission to the programme rests with the University.
