Description

This international hospitality and tourism management degree course prepares students for a wide range of business management and leadership roles in one of the world’s fastest-growing industry. Students will reflect on contemporary international tourism and hospitality thought leadership and best practices, all from a global perspective.

The course will equip students with a range of skills so that they can build their business acumen along with communications, digital literacy, financial, and problem-solving skills that they need in the real-world today.

Entry Requirements

Local Qualifications

Entry via Year 1

  • GCE A-Level (three subjects grade B or higher); or
  • International Baccalaureate (IB) – 33 points; or
  • European Baccalaureate (EB) – 69 points.

Entry via Year 2

  • Polytechnic Diploma in Business, Management, Marketing, Hospitality and Tourism; or
  • Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Business, Management, Marketing, Hospitality, Tourism pathway programmes or equivalent, awarded by a recognised private education institution.

Note: Successful completion of the following PSB Academy’s Diploma programmes may be eligible for direct entry into Year 2.

  • Diploma in Business Analytics
  • Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management

Entry via Year 3

  • Applicants may be eligible for direct entry into Year 3 with a Polytechnic Diploma in a closely related discipline. Such applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis in consultation with Coventry University link tutors.

Applicants with any other non-standard qualifications may apply but will be assessed on a case-by-case basis by PSB Academy and Coventry University.

Minimum Age Requirement

  • 16 years old

English Language Requirements (Language Proficiency)

Entry via Year 1 and 2

  • English Language at GCE O-Level at grade C or above; or
  • Successfully complete PSB Academy’s Certificate in English Proficiency Level 5; or
  • IELTS score of 6.0 with no component lower than 5.5 (or equivalent).

Entry via Year 3

  • IELTS score of 6.5 with no component lower than 6.0 (or equivalent)
