Description

This business and marketing degree course brings together the twin disciplines of business and marketing. Students will learn about accounting for business managers, digital marketing, marketing research, and responsible business strategy and understand how they are being applied in today’s business world.

Entry Requirements

Local Qualifications

Entry via Year 1

  • Obtained at least three GCE A-Level subjects which must include a business-related subject such as Business, Economics, Mathematics or similar; or equivalent. However, students who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered on an individual basis at the discretion of Coventry University.

Entry via Year 2

  • Local Polytechnic Diploma in Business, Marketing or similar; or
  • Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Business, Marketing pathway programmes or equivalent, awarded by a recognised private education institution.

Note: Successful completion of the following PSB Academy’s Diploma programmes may be eligible for direct entry into Year 2.

  • Diploma in Business Administration (Banking and Finance)
  • Diploma in Business Studies (E-Learning)
  • Diploma in Business Studies (Digital Marketing) (E-Learning)
  • Diploma in Business Studies (Human Resource Management) (E-Learning)

Entry via Year 3

  • Applicants may be eligible for direct entry into Year 3 with a local Polytechnic Diploma in a closely related discipline. Such applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis in consultation with Coventry University link tutors.

Applicants with any other non-standard qualifications may apply but will be assessed on a case-by-case basis by PSB Academy and Coventry University.

Minimum Age Requirement

  • 16 years old

English Language Requirements (Language Proficiency)

Entry via Year 1 and 2

  • English Language at GCE O-Level at grade C or above; or
  • Successfully complete PSB Academy’s Certificate in English Proficiency Level 5; or
  • IELTS score of 6.0 with no component lower than 5.5 (or equivalent).

Entry via Year 3

  • IELTS score of 6.5 overall or equivalent
