Description
Programme Introduction
The BA (Hons) in International Hospitality and Tourism Management develops students for managerial positions in the hospitality, attraction and tourism industry, as well as to develop their communication skills.
Students will gain knowledge in areas such as Contemporary Issues in Hospitality and Tourism, Strategy as Practice, Attractions Management, International Destination Management and Marketing, New Enterprise Creation, People, Planet, Profit, and Honours Project.
Students will complete 8-weeks of supervisor and 6-weeks of manager training.
Upon completion of the Bachelor programme, students will be able to advance to Masters programmes.
Programme Objective
- To equip graduates with the managerial knowledge and skills, so that they can be effective and efficient managers to the industry.
- To develop in students a firm understanding of the roles and responsibilities of managerial functions in the organisation.
- To focus on analytical and evaluative skills, improve communication ability and work effectively as part of a team.

Relevant EAIM Advanced Diploma

Relevant Polytechnic Diploma
or
An equivalent academic qualification from a recognized higher learning institution
International Students:
Relevant EAIM Advanced Diploma

An equivalent academic qualification
English Proficiency Requirement:
Minimum EAIM / ETEDP Level 3 / IELTS 6.0
