Description
This online program is a foundation and essential skillset training for digital artist. In this 4 months art foundation course, students will learn about the important fundamentals of art. We will drill into traditional concepts of drawing, and critical principles of designs as well as aesthetic studies; all design to hone the artistic flare of students and train their 'eye' to better art direct creative projects. Students will learn the basics of 3D but the main goal will be to ensure students graduate with a strong artistic foundation to better ease into our other fulltime program.

Modules
DIGITAL DESIGN PRINCIPLES
Students will explore various theories and concepts of digital design. From composition rules to moving visuals principles. Topics such as principles of animation will also be explored an applied to their assignements.
ILLUSTRATION ESSENTIALS
Students will get used to managing pen tablets for digital illustration. Fundamental concepts of illustration such as 2d rendering process will be practice, and students will also experience critical review process of their works.
FOUNDATION DRAWING FOR 3D
Students will practice basic drawing skills to hone their observation and hand eye coordination. This essential skill is required to ensure students have a keen sense of observation as well as patience for iterations of work; that is crucial for the success of a digital artist.
