Modules

Visualisation plays a fundamental role in understanding properties and relationships in data to extract insights and communicate results. Whether the analytics is descriptive, diagnostic, prescriptive, or proscriptive, visualisation is essential throughout any analytics cycle. This course will focus on applying various methods and techniques to different stages of the analytics cycle such as during data preparation, modeling, and reporting. Students will learn techniques for visualising univariate, multivariate, temporal, text-based, hierarchical, and network/graph-based data both in ad hoc analysis as well as in automated generation.

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Wrangle and manipulate tidy data in
  • Visualise and interact with data using common Python
  • Format, simplify, and focus visualisations for clarity, insight, and
  • Monitor, evaluate, and interpret machine learning
  • Automate report and dashboard

Modules:

  • Module 01: Visualization Environment
  • Module 02: Univariate Visualizations
  • Module 03: Multivariate Visualizations
  • Module 04: Networks and Spatial Visualization
  • Module 05: Dashboard and Report Generation
  • Module 06: Model Diagnostic Visualization
  • Module 07: Advanced Topics
