Description

Programme Introduction

The Advanced Diploma in Business and Management is designed to provide students with management knowledge and skills to meet the ever challenging and changing global business environment.

It provides students who have a Diploma in Management or its equivalent a head start to the Advanced Diploma in Business and Management. The programme consists of modules designed for students to achieve competency in business management practices and knowledge through lectures, tutorials, discussions, researches and assignments designed to build the stated job-profile.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be awarded the Advanced Diploma in Business and Management by DIMENSIONS International College. Students may consider progressing into the final year of degree programmes awarded by the University of Hertfordshire, UK at DIMENSIONS International College.

  • To provide students with an understanding of the complexity of the business sector and equip them with skills and the ability to successfully assist in the management of an organization.
  • To develop the knowledge and skills necessary for positions within a business environment.
  • To create awareness in regards to the growing trends of the business industry.
  • To develop the concept and understanding of business and culture in support of their academic development in the field of business management.

Theories and practices in Business and Management

Entry Requirements

Academic Level:

Local students

Polytechnic Diploma or DIMENSIONS’ Business Diploma or Hospitality Diploma or other private Diploma (with equivalent entry requirements as Level 4 Diploma and subject to approval)

International students

Equivalent qualifications related to business from other countries (with equivalent entry requirements as Level 4 Diploma and subject to approval).

Note: Applicants with non-standard entry qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis

 

English Proficiency: An IELTS score of at least 5.5 or DIMENSIONS’ Certificate in Academic English (CAE) Level 4 or passed DIMENSIONS’ English Proficiency Test at an equivalent level or its equivalent. English proficiency may be considered to have been met and an IELTS score may not be required if applicant possesses a highest qualification where English was the sole medium of instruction.
