Description
Course Overview
A holistic introduction to the textile and fashion industry understanding the process of design till finished goods focusing on production, sourcing, costing and marketing. Participants will gain the basic comprehension of textile fundamentals, ability to apprehend the processes for apparel production, elementary skills in production drawing, applying production tracking skills till marketing of their finished goods.
Entry Requirements
Singaporean or Singapore PR
- Aged 16 years and above
- Possess at least 3 GCE “N” level credits including English and Mathematics or ES WSQ Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) level 4 and above.
- Students are required to have basic computing skills i.e. turn on the laptop, use the mouse, drag and drop files, use online search engine for research; and be a competent user of Microsoft Office.
Graduation
To graduate, you must fulfil the following requirements
- 75% attendance rate of total training hours per module
- Be found competent during written, practical and oral assessments
International Students
To enrol, you must fulfil the following requirements
- Aged 16 years and above
- High School Diploma equivalent to 3 GCE “N” level credits including English and Mathematics OR Qualifications from professional institutes may be considered on a case-by-case basis
- Pass TaF.tc Entrance Test
- English Requirement: Possess a minimum credit in English at GCE ‘O’ Level or its equivalent OR IELTS score 4.5 or TOEFL score 32
- Students are required to have basic computing skills i.e. turn on the laptop, use the mouse, drag and drop files, use online search engine for research; and be a competent user of Microsoft Office.
Graduation
To enrol, you must fulfil the following requirements
- 75% attendance rate of total training hours per module. Student pass holders - A minimum of 90% attendance per month will be required
